1. General Terms

1.1. By enrolling in Rise Hockey Academy, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions.

1.2. These terms and conditions apply to all participants, their parents or guardians, and any other individuals associated with the participants.

1.3. Rise Hockey Academy reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to participants and their guardians.

2. Payment Terms

2.1. Payment for all programs and sessions is due upon receipt of the invoice.

2.2. All invoices must be paid in full prior to the commencement of any program or session.

2.3. Failure to pay the invoice by the due date may result in the participant’s suspension from the academy until payment is received.

2.4. Refunds are not provided for missed sessions due to participant absence.

3. Values and Conduct

3.1. Rise Hockey Academy upholds the values of Respect, Perseverance, Integrity, Empathy, Legacy, and Fun. All participants are expected to embody and practice these values both on and off the field.

3.2. Respect: Participants must show respect to coaches, fellow players, and all academy staff at all times.

3.3. Perseverance: Participants are encouraged to give their best effort in every training session and match, demonstrating dedication and hard work.

3.4. Integrity: Honesty and sportsmanship are expected from all participants. Cheating or dishonesty will not be tolerated.

3.5. Empathy: Participants should support and understand their peers, fostering a positive and inclusive environment.

3.6. Legacy: Participants are encouraged to contribute positively to the academy’s reputation and leave a lasting, positive impact.

3.7. Fun: Enjoyment and passion for the game are essential. Participants should aim to have fun while learning and improving their skills.

4. Authority and Enforcement

4.1. The directors, staff, and contractors of Rise Hockey Academy have full authority to address any issues related to the academy’s values and code of conduct.

4.2. Any behavior that contravenes the academy’s values may result in disciplinary action, including but not limited to warnings, suspension, or expulsion from the academy.

5. Health and Safety

5.1. Participants must inform the academy of any medical conditions or allergies prior to the commencement of any program or session.

5.2. Participants must wear appropriate gear and safety equipment during all training sessions and matches.

5.3. The academy is not responsible for any injuries sustained during training sessions or matches. Parents or guardians must ensure that participants have appropriate insurance coverage.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

6.1. Rise Hockey Academy collects and processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

6.2. Personal data will be used solely for the purposes of academy administration and communication.

7. Limitation of Liability

7.1. Rise Hockey Academy is not liable for any loss or damage to personal property brought to the academy.

7.2. The academy is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in academy activities.

8. Governing Law

8.1. These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa.
